Bedford Central School District is seeking a Tiered Support Leave Replacement Teacher for Mount Kisco Elementary School, September – January of the 2024/2025 School Year.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years successful classroom experienceExperience with Response to InterventionExtensive coursework in the fundamentals of reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, and language developmentTraining in structured literacy approach to teaching readingVersed in administering and analyzing a variety of screeners and diagnostic assessmentsExtensive knowledge of K-5 skills progression in mathematicsExtensive repertoire of effective teaching strategiesEffective use of data (collection, analysis and use)Proven collaborator with history of building positive connections with students, families, and facultyStrong communication skillsReading Certification and/or Dual Certification in Special Education a plusFluency in Spanish preferred Certification: NYS Certification Childhood EducationSalary: Starting at $75,000 or higher commensurate with experience.
