Anticipated Start Date: August 27, 2025 Requirements:NYS Certification in Special Education and Mathematics 7-12 required.Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following are required:NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment for secondary education;Effective instructional practices for specially designed instruction and the delivery of special education services for students with disabilities in general education settings and special class settings;Effective, student centered classroom management strategies;Differentiated instruction to support the needs of diverse learners in the classroom;Culturally responsive instructional practices support student learning needs;Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress;Effective strategies for student and family engagement;Knowledge/experience with Frontline Direct (IEP Direct) for development, implementation and progress monitoring of student’s IEP’s;Prior experience in high school level education desired;Bilingual preferred.
