Requirements:Valid NYS Certification in Elementary General Education 1-6, and K – 12 Music Education, required;Prior teaching experience with elementary age students preferred;Experience in general music and choral classes;Ability to work a flexible schedule with lesson and prep time included in weekly work schedule;Demonstrated knowledge/experience working in diverse school communities utilizing culturally responsive practices, preferred;Demonstrated knowledge/experience in student and family engagement preferred;Must have the knowledge and the ability to use various virtual platforms as needed in relation to the position;Strong skills in collaboration, oral communication, and written communication skills, required.
