Elementary AIS and Enrichment Teacher (Mathematics)We seek several candidates to fill an anticipated probationary opening in Elementary AIS/Enrichment Mathematics for the 2026-27 school year. Successful candidates will exhibit the following criteria: A passion for and deep commitment to supporting students’ intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development;Knowledge and understanding of student-centered pedagogical skills/strategies and NYS Next Generation Learning Standards, particularly in mathematics; Experience providing targeted, small-group, or one-on-one Tier 2 support;Experience serving as a resource to classroom teachers providing Tier 1 strategies; Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and staff to align support with current lessons and develop strategies to address learning gaps; Willing and able to work in a collaborative teaching environment, including co-teaching and interdisciplinary planning;Proficient in project-based learning and differentiation of instruction;Able to conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, keeps records, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual students’ needs; Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth; actively seeks professional learning opportunities;Proven track record of successful partnerships with families and faculty; Encourages family involvement in a student's education and ensures effective communication with students and families.Blind Brook is committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion and connectedness.
