The Babylon Union Free School District is seeking a dynamic, part-time Business Teacher beginning September 1, 2026, serving students in grades 7–12. The successful candidate will design and deliver instruction aligned to the New York State Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) Learning Standards, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, accounting, and management. Instruction should incorporate real-world applications, career exploration, and project-based learning. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to establish a professional, supportive classroom environment, communicate effectively with students and families, and contribute positively to the school community. Experience supporting Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) such as DECA or Business Honor Society is preferred. Experience with Virtual Enterprise and dual enrollment programs is also preferred. Candidates must possess or be eligible for New York State certification in Business (Grades 7–12).
