Must be certified as a School PsychologistEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning.Interpret assessment results and provide written reports with recommendations to support student learning.Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.Provide direct counseling services to students individually or in groups to address social-emotional and behavioral needs.Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding effective strategies to support student development and success.Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.Support crisis intervention efforts and provide risk assessments when necessary.Promote positive behavior supports and school-wide social-emotional learning initiatives.Serve as a member of the building’s child study team or equivalent multidisciplinary team.Maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.Minimum Salary: $51,893 based on experience.
