Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1.0 FTE Mathematics teacher for the Alternative Instruction Program located at the Central Administrative Offices for the 2023-2024 school year. This program is focused on providing individualized instruction for students who are temporarily unable to attend their regular schools. The ideal candidate has experience working with students with diverse learning needs, has the ability to set up procedures to ensure the classroom runs smoothly and is able to build rapport with students. This is a unique opportunity to work with a small group of students to positively impact the students’ academic trajectory. New and retired teachers are encouraged to apply.This position requires a minimum NYS certification of Special Education, Students with Disabilities 7-12, Mathematics or English Language Arts; dual certification preferred.
