Argyle Central School is seeking a long-term K-12 library media specialist for the remainder of the school year. Candidates for this position must possess, at least, a Bachelor's degree (Masters degree preferred), and a valid New York State certification in Library Media Specialist. Certification in English Language Arts will also be accepted.Job responsibilities include: Teaching lessons to elementary students and building a foundational understanding of library technology systems and applications. Supporting secondary students with technology and applications within the library, collaborating with teachers and assisting students with book selections.
