Ardsley School District is seeking a Teacher Aide for Ardsley High School School for the 2025-2026 school year, effective December 1, 2025.QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with children or students with disabilitiesAbility to work collaboratively and receive direction and feedback from certified staffTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 month position - 1 year probationary periodPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:The Teacher Aide will:Monitor and record daily student attendance using the school’s attendance management system.Collect and verify attendance data from teachers and classroom rosters.Contact parents or guardians regarding student absences, tardies, or early dismissals.Maintain accurate and confidential attendance records in compliance with district and state requirements.Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports for administrative review.Assist students in obtaining and submitting absence notes, passes, and tardy slips.Support teachers and administrators by providing attendance-related information as needed.Help identify patterns of truancy and communicate concerns to counselors or administrators.Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in the attendance office.Issue and track student passes for late arrivals, early dismissals, and class changes.Coordinate with school security or resource officers to locate students on campus when necessary.EVALUATION:Performance will be evaluated annually by building administration.
