Anticipated Probationary Special Education teacher needed at Ardsley High School effective August 27, 2025. Comprehensive benefits and NYS Retirement System offered. NYSED Fingerprint clearance is required. Qualifications:Possession of appropriate NYS Certification in Special Education (Special Education K-12, Students With Disabilities 7-12 or Generalist, and New York State subject area certification or SOCE(Statement of Continued Eligibility) Administer and interpret comprehensive educational evaluations Successfully chair/participate in CSE/504 meetings Skillfully develop and implement IEP/504 plansCollaborate with a subject area teacher as part of an Integrated Co-teaching team to deliver highly effective instruction and facilitate active learning experiences while meeting the needs of students outlined in the Individualized Education Programs (IEP’s)Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)Participates on the MTSS Team and a solid understanding and investment in the MTSS processHighly effective provision of mandated individual and group speech/language servicesKnowledge of ABA and assistive technology/augmentative communication/hearing aids/devices preferredIn addition to applying on OLAS, you must also apply on our website at www.ardsleyschools.org (click on Careers).
