Probationary School PsychologistItinerant Position - Elementary School and Middle SchoolNYS School Psychologist Certification is requiredQUALIFICATIONS:- Working knowledge of the Commissioner’s Part 200Regulations including LRE- Experience working with students with special needs- Leadership role within the Instructional Support Team- Solid understanding and investment in the MTSS process- Administer comprehensive psychological evaluations- Successfully chair CSE/504 meetings and IEP development- Strong counseling background (both individual and group)- Demonstrate highly effective communication skills with parents and students- Evidence of ability to work collaboratively and in a consultative model with parents, providers and school personnel- Working knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) preferred- Crisis intervention and behavioral intervention skills- The psychologist will also be expected to effectively supervise psychology interns
