Ardsley UFSD is seeking a leave replacement teacher in the position of Reading Teacher at Ardsley Middle School from mid-September through early March.Required: NYS Reading/Literacy K-12 CertificationQualifications:Extensive knowledge of literacy development aligned with NYS Learning StandardsWilson Reading Certified or Certification in Orton-Gillingham or comparable research based reading programExtensive experience with delivery of multiple evidenced based reading programs focused on skill development in decoding, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and fluency.Ability to create an inquiry-based active learning environment for reading in the content areasUse of formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and measure progress
