JSHS Teaching AssistantJob Description:Altmar Parish Williamstown Central School District (APW CSD) is seeking a full time probationary Teaching Assistant in our JSHS, with salary based on experience and the APW Faculty Association contract. Teaching Assistants assist certified teachers in providing instructional services to students in a classroom. Teaching Assistants may contribute either general or specialized skills or work under the general supervision of a certified teacher. Some positions may require support of special education students at all levels.CERTIFICATION: Valid NYS Certification MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Valid NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant2. Strong commitment to children3. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills5.
