We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teacher Mentor to join our team at our East Setauket site. In this full-time leadership role, you will guide and support teaching staff to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction as well as train new teachers and teacher floats on AFC policies, procedures, and OCFS regulations. Ensure teachers understand and apply developmentally appropriate practices and differentiated instruction. Support implementation of curriculum aligned with NYS Common Core and NYS Learning Standards. Promote and monitor use of PBIS/SEL behavioral strategies in the classroom. Qualifications: Master's degree and certification in Special Education. Experience implementing PBIS/SEL behavioral strategies. Minimum 2 years of preschool-related experience — preferred. Full Time Location: East Setauket Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:00pm – 70 hrs Bi-weekly Date Job Posted: May 2026 Salary Range: $80-$85K.
