We currently seek dedicated individuals to help our Special Education Teachers with implementation of classroom wide and individualized behavior management strategies/plans within the special education preschool classroom setting. In this exciting role, you will follow the lead from the teacher and intervene for consistency on behavioral strategies being implemented. You will float in and out of each self-contained classroom, where needed, at the direction of the site coordinator.Qualifications: Must have a HS Diploma/GED; experience with behavior management with special needs preschool children essential. Some college coursework dealing with behaviors is preferred. Some college credits in Early Childhood Education is preferred, Teacher’s Assistant Certification a strong plus.Job Type: Part timeLocation: East SetauketHours: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 3:00Salary Range $19 - $23 hourly
