As our Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be responsible for the retrieval, processing and data entry of student information critical to compliant service delivery. You will also be responsible for obtaining, processing/entry of mandatory student forms and documents to support compliance initiatives. In addition, you will: Retrieve student IEPs from online applications; Review IEP services for completeness/accuracy (ie frequency, setting, duration, goals); Data enter goal information into AFC student database; Generate quarterly goals for staff; Copy/Scan/Distribute IEPs; Communicate with IEP Coordinators, Teachers and Therapists to resolve IEP issues; Document and follow-up on all quality issues until resolved; Generate correspondence, telephone families obtain forms/documents; Generate monthly productivity reports; Support QA Coordinator on special projectsHigh School Diploma / GED or Associates Degree; 3 – 5 years experience in Quality Assurance, Medicaid compliance/Medical billing strongly preferred. Accurate alpha and numeric data entry skills; Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner; Excellent problem-solving, project management and communication skills; knowledge and proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Excel required.East Setauket locationFull Time Monday to Friday 8:00 - 3:30
