We currently seek a Staff Trainer with strong communication skills and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Training new teachers and teacher floats on AFC policies and procedures, OCFS regulations, ensure teachers understand developmentally appropriate practices and employ differentiated lessons/instructions, ensure implementation of the curriculum as it aligns with NYS Common Core and the NYS Learning Standards and performs all other duties as needed and/or assigned by Administration. Experience with ASD and special needs population. Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Minimum 2 years preschool related experience preferred. Experience with implementation of behavioral strategies PBIS/SEL required.Qualifications: NYS Dual Certification in Special Ed/Early Childhood B - Gr 2 required and experience in early childhood.Job Type: Full timeLocation: East SetauketHours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:00Apply on OLAS
