Since 1988, Alternatives for Children, a not-for-profit private school, has been at the forefront in providing educational experiences to a broad spectrum of children from across Long Island, offering special education preschool services for 3–5-year-old children (both integrated and self-contained classes).We currently have a full-time opportunity for a dynamic recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition / Human Resources Team to source, attract and interview prospective employees for our four Suffolk County locations.Bachelor's degree in related field. 3+ years recruitment/talent acquisition experience in school or healthcare environment. Proven experience with heavy volume recruiting and interviewing techniques. Experience recruiting for healthcare professionals and Certified Teachers. Excellent communication and writing skills. Strong knowledge of employment laws and practice essential. Experience with ADP Applicant Tracking System a strong plus. Experience working with all levels of management, Certificate in HR a plus.EAST SETAUKET location Full time Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:00
