The Alexandria Central School District is accepting applications for a probationary teaching position for September 1, 2023. Multiple certifications preferred, but not required. Knowledge of instructional best practices, as well as good communication skills and dedication to student success, are a must. A Probationary appointment will be based on certification and education, NYS Education Laws and the ACFA Teacher’s contract. ACS is a rural school district located in the heart of the Thousands Islands region of the St. Lawrence River in Alexandria Bay, NY. The school district has a UPK-12 population of over 500 students housed in one building with a staff of 75 full-time personnel.
