Afton Central School District seeks a student-centered leader to oversee all special education programs and pupil personnel services. This role ensures compliance with regulations while supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional success. REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months QUALIFICATIONS: N.Y.S. Certification (SDA, SDL, or SBL) Strong background in special education Leadership experience preferred Knowledge of special education law and best practices Strong communication and organizational skills RESPONSIBILITIES: Selected candidate will oversee all special education programs and pupil personnel services. This role ensures compliance with regulations while supporting students’ academic, social and emotional needs. SALARY: Dependent upon experience with benefits as per the AAA contract.
