Position: Elementary School Principal (Grades PreK–6)Location: Floral Park-Bellerose School DistrictStart Date: July 2025Application Deadline: July 2, 2025The Floral Park-Bellerose Union Free School District is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as Principal of its K–6 elementary school. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, student-centered educator who fosters a culture of excellence, equity, and inclusion while promoting high academic achievement and social-emotional well-being for all students.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Serve as the instructional and administrative leader of the schoolCultivate a positive school climate that supports high expectations for students and staffLead curriculum implementation, data-driven instruction, and professional learningBuild strong partnerships with families and the communitySupervise and evaluate faculty and staffEnsure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environmentCollaborate with district leadership to align building goals with district’s Five-Year Strategic Plan Uphold district policies and state regulationsQualifications:New York State Certification as a School Building Leader (SBL) At least seven years of successful teaching experience at the elementary levelMinimum of two years' experience as an Assistant Principal Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead instructional improvementProven commitment to student achievement and inclusive practicesStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsSalary: Competitive for the region and commensurate with experienceHow to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, résumé, and copies of certifications to via OLAS only by July 2, 2025
