POSTINGPOSITION AVAILABLE2025-2026WYANDANCH MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL AFTER SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY ACADEMIC SUPPORT TEACHERS 1-Earth Science 1-Living Environment 1-Algebra 1-English 9-10 1-U.S. History 1-Global History 1-Geometry 1-English 11-12 Duties include but are not limited to:· Deliver targeted, data-driven instruction based on each student’s academic needs· Use Regents, quarterly exams, and IXL benchmark data to identify skill gaps and inform support· Develop and maintain a cyclical action plan for each student (lesson plan not required)· Incorporate research-based best practices to support diverse learning styles· Monitor and track student progress toward academic goals· Provide clear, specific and actionable feedback to students for improvement· Collaborate with school staff as needed to align interventions with in-class instructionQualification(s): Appropriate NYS Teaching CertificationImmediate Supervisor: Mr. Paul Sibblies, PrincipalDuration: November 13, 2025 to June 16, 2026Hours: 2:00pm to 4:00pm - 3 days/week (Tuesday through Thursday)Stipend: $65.00 per hour (Per WTA Contract)
