POSTINGPOSITION AVAILABLE2023-2024MILTON L. OLIVE MIDDLE SCHOOLPHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER Duties include but are not limited to:¨ Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education and individual or team sports¨ Utilizes a variety of instructional skills and methods; vary instructional modes to accommodate student needs, interests, learning styles and ability levels; provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students¨ Assess each student’s progress in physical fitness, skills and knowledge, prepare accurate data reports on students¨ Plan and coordinate lessons that effectively utilize teacher aides, teacher assistants and part-time monitors¨ Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: NYS Teacher Certification in Physical Education & Health required.Requisite Skills:¨ Strong knowledge of literacy content and real world applications¨ Strong organization and communication skills¨ Strong knowledge of digital platforms, including but not limited to Google ClassroomImmediate Supervisor: Mr. Stanley Pelech, Acting PrincipalDuration: 2023-2024 School YearSalary: Per WTA Contract
