POSTINGPOSITION AVAILABLE2023-2024ANTICIPATED VACANCIESLAFRANCIS HARDIMAN /ANNEX ELEMENTARY SCHOOL2-MATH ACADEMIC INTERVENTION TEACHERS (AIS) Duties include but are not limited to: Knowledge of RTI & MTSS (Multi-Tier System Supports); Provideresources and strategies to teachers; Work with students in in the areas of Math; Knowledge of the Next Generation Learning Standards; Provide targeted small group instruction including, but not limited to Tier 2 & Tier 3 interventions; Analyze student data and create action plans to meet the needs of the students; Knowledge of Running Records, Error Analysis, and accurate record keeping; Collaborate with other interventionists and provide guidance to teaching assistants who support students in the area of math; Provide small group instruction to students in an effort to improve in mathematic skillset; This support teacher will communicate with teachers and administrators to determine patterns of growth necessary to close the instructional gaps needed for student success in mathematics; Additionally, the support teacher will communicate with building leaders, RTI teachers and content teachers to determine which students canbenefit from targeted interventions as well as enhancements Qualifications: NYS Teacher Certification Elementary Ed. B-2 and/or Childhood Education Gr. 1-6 Immediate Supervisor: Dr. Darlene White, Principal Effective Date: August 31, 2023 Annual Salary: Per WTA Contract
