POSITION: Part Time Speech Therapist (.4 FTE- two days a week) LOCATION: Watervliet Jr./Sr. High SchoolSTART DATE: September 3, 2024 SALARY: $20,647 - $26,082 (per WTA contract) Job Description:1. Provide individual and group speech therapy to students who have mandated related services per their individualized education plan. 2. Complete initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and collect progress monitoring data toward student’s achieving their individual goals3. Complete documentation for Medicaid billing and reporting purposes4. Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment throughout the school day.5. Support student’s individual academic, behavioral, and social-emotional well-being. 6. Work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, related service providers, support staff, students, and families to ensure students achieve success.Minimum Qualifications:1. Current NYS License for Speech and Language Pathology 2. Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.3. Experience working with students with disabilities 4. Ability to demonstrate job expectations5.
