The Waterville Central School District serves a rural community approximately 15 minutes south of Utica, New York. The Waterville CSD consists of approximately 750 students in grades PK-12 and is seeking a passionate, dedicated Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Minimum Qualifications: Valid NYS License as a Registered Professional Nurse Strong rapport with children and adherence to rules and policies within the school setting Varied nursing experience preferred Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, laws and regulations governing health services in the school, wellness education, and emergency medical skills Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social services agencies Strong interpersonal, communication, computer, and organizational skills
