Responsibilities include overseeing all financial, transportation, buildings and grounds, and food service operations of the district while translating the educational program of the district into a composite and prudent fiscal plan in the best interest of students and taxpayers.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIESManage the financial responsibilities of the district.Prepare budget development, presentations, updates of fund balance projections and monthly reports on financial position.Supervise the Transportation Supervisor, Buildings and Grounds, and the Food Service ProgramProvide oversight of district grants.Coordinate and supervise all audits (e.g., annual, internal, claims, Office of State Comptroller, or other) and prepare necessary responses and corrective action plans to governmental agencies.Facilitate the Audit, Budget, and Capital Project Committees with the Board of Education committee members.Oversee capital projects in collaboration with Construction ManagerManage all accounting operations including receivables, payables, payroll, general ledger, and internal control procedures.
