The Watertown City School District is currently accepting applications for a long-term substitute Teacher Assistant for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. Interested applicants must possess a valid NYS Teaching Assistant Certificate and must provide us with letter of intent, resume, & a copy of TA certificate. EOEDUTIES:Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the test process for students who have testing accommodations on their IEP or Section 504 accommodation plan;Responsible for providing testing accommodations to students outlined in student IEP’s or Section 504 accommodation plans;Communicate and collaborate with both Special Education and General Education teachers on students with IEP’s or Section 504 accommodation plans on the implementation of testing accommodations;Participate in a cooperative effort to support students with disabilities in advocating for their accommodations;Responsible for the scheduling/planning, management and execution of the test process in conjunction with the special education and general education teachers. Minimum Qualification - Either:(A) Certified Teacher Assistant; OR(B) Certified Elementary TeacherApply on OLAS
