Wantagh School District is seeking a caring and dedicated security aide to patrol and protect students, personnel, buildings and grounds.Essential Duties (include, but not limited to):• Monitor school grounds, buildings, and entrances to ensure the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors• Assist in visitor management and building access control• Act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations• Enforce school policies and procedures regarding safety and security• Collaborate with administrators, staff, and law enforcement when necessary• Other duties as requiredRequirements:• Must hold a current NYS Security Guard License• Must have prior law enforcement experience• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• NYSED K-12 Fingerprint clearance
