The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with general education teachers and other related services professionals. The successful candidate would be flexible, approachable, and maintain a positive attitude. Responsibilities Include: Delivering therapy through various models (individual/group, push-in/pull-out) Conducting both standardized and non-standardized student assessments Continuously evaluating student progress Maintaining and updating student records, including IEP documentation Participating regularly in team meetings for each assigned student to enhance goal coordination and progress Attending IEP meetings as needed Engaging in RTI meetings This role requires a dynamic approach to support and enhance student communication skills in a collaborative educational environment. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited school and must currently be licensed by New York State Department of Education. The additional Certificate of Clinical Competence is preferred. This is a full time, 10 month, tenure track position under the WTA contract. Full benefits available and eligibility to contribute to the NYS Teacher Retirement System (TRS). Salary range is $54,025-$60,888 based upon experience plus $36 per graduate credit hour.
