The district has created a 6:1:2 program primarily with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The expectations for the SLP professional to provide direct services to students and also work with the teacher to create a language rich environment. It is anticipated the ½ time position would be AM or PM opposite the OT Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include: Direct service with students according to a written treatment plan/IEP that the SLP develops. Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility, while working cooperatively with supervisors and teachers. Maintain records and documentation. Communicates and interacts with other team members, school personnel, and families Must be Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in NYS. Part-time, 10 month position. Salary per the WTA contract- salary range is $54,025-$60,888 pro-rated and based upon experience. Generous benefits package available.
