Waterford-Halfmoon Elementary and Jr/Sr High School are searching for individuals who are looking for a career in the education sector. This position offers competitive pay and benefits. Staff members have the ability to participate in the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) through NYS. The successful candidate will work with students in the general education classroom setting reinforcing academic material, providing program modifications and testing accommodations. Candidates must be flexible in working with many teachers, be able to accurately report student progress to their case managers on a weekly basis and have a positive attitude! Full time, 10 month position, benefits per the CSEA contract. Hours are 8:30-3:00 for the Elementary School and 7:45-2:30 for the Jr/Sr High School . Applicants must have appropriate NYS Teaching Assistant certification.
