Donald Myers Education Center, Saratoga SpringsWork Hours: TBDReporting to the Director of School Improvement, the GED Coordinator will coordinate the testing schedule, create a proctoring schedule covering all scheduled tests offered in the Testing Center including for GED assessments. The coordinator will reconcile scheduled tests for payment for NYSED and complete any necessary paperwork needed to substantiate the grant needs. The GED Coordinator will ensure the proctors follow check-in procedures in accordance with the appropriate test being administered. The Test Proctor monitors students and ensures that all test takers adhere to the established process and procedure set forth by Pearson. The Coordinator provides overall support for the Test Center and Proctors, and performs additional work as assigned.Coordination of scheduling of students and staff;Reconciliation of reimbursements from NYSED;Sets up testing computers and makes sure they are operational;Ensures that all test administration requirements are met and reports issues related to the successful administration of exams;Ensures proctors are following all test administration requirements and reports irregular testing issues related to breaches in testing protocols and academic dishonesty;Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree;Excellent communication skills;Strong customer service skills;Proficiency in the use of the software applications, the Internet and other office equipment;1 year experience providing online testing in a testing center at a college or university, preferred;Previous proctoring experience, preferred;Knowledge of NYS processes regarding test administration, preferred;Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.In addition to the application on OLAS, please attach the following in OLAS or by email to apply@wswheboces.org:Letter of interestUpdated resumeCopy of certification (if applicable)Transcripts (if applicable)Two (2) written letters of reference (References MUST be signed; at least one (1) of the two (2) references must be from outside the WSWHE BOCES organization.)
