Western Suffolk BOCES anticipates an opening for a Technical Enrichment Teacher for our Wilson Tech Dix Hills campus. This position involves working closely with vocational teachers to support students in their technology classes, providing additional help and ensuring their success.This is an hourly position. Hours are 7:40 a.m. -2:40 p.m.Must have NYS Special Education 7-12 certification.Responsibilities Include:Collaborating with vocational teachers to identify students needing extra assistance in tech-related subjects.Provide individualized or small group instruction to students to enhance their understanding and skills in technology courses.Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the unique learning needs of students.Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction methods when needed.Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with tech teachers.Ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.To apply, upload a resume and cover letter.
