The Clinical Coordinator shall be responsible for coordination of clinical education with didactic education as assigned by the Program Director and shall be directly responsible to the Program Director on all matters, which relate to school policy, procedure, curriculum, and instruction as they affect the Radiologic Technology student’s education. This position serves as the liaison between the School of Radiology and all clinical affiliate sites as well as providing supervision of students and guidance to clinical preceptors.The Clinical Coordinator’s duties include responsibility for evaluating clinical education effectiveness as well as developing and implementing a schedule of regular affiliate site visits. The Clinical Coordinator shall maintain current knowledge of all radiologic techniques and current educational methodology through continuing professional development.
