The White Plains City School District is seeking a dynamic and student-centered educational leader for an anticipated House Administrator position at White Plains High School. This eleven-month administrative position is responsible for supporting the academic, social, and emotional success of students while fostering a positive school culture. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, support staff, students, families, and administrators to promote student achievement, attendance, engagement, and well-being. Responsibilities include supporting instructional practices, supervising student activities and events, addressing student discipline and attendance matters, assisting with scheduling and assessment administration, evaluating and supporting staff, facilitating communication with families, and serving as a member of the Principal's Cabinet. The House Administrator will also play a key role in advancing school and district initiatives and supporting the daily operations of the building. Candidates should possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, a commitment to collaboration, and an understanding of adolescent development. Qualifications: New York State certification as a School Building Leader (SBL), School District Leader (SDL), School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS), School District Administrator (SDA) or Administrator (A) Secondary teaching experience required Secondary administrative experience preferred The White Plains City School District is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
