NYS Mathematics 7-12 certification is required for a probationary Mathematics Teacher position at White Plains High School. Dual certification in Computer Science (All Grades) is preferred. Eligibility requirements include the following: an understanding of New York State Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards the ability to develop effective, standard-aligned lessons that support student learning and achievement of school academic objectives, benchmarks, and state learning standards experience working with diverse populations of students, parents and families proficiency in building relationships with families of ECS students through frequent communication about students’ progress and ways that families can support their children’s learning the ability to engage in self-reflection regarding performance and professional growth; actively seek professional learning opportunities Salary placement as per the White Plains Teachers Association salary schedule with full benefits.
