Minimum Acceptable Training & Experience:Possession of a high school or one (1) year experience in building maintenance or cleaning workRequirements:· Skill in performing building cleaning tasks & unskilled maintenance;· Familiarity with use of cleaning supplies & equipment and with common tools used for repair & maintenance;· Ability to understand and follow oral instructions;· Ability to get along well with others, particularly teachers & students;· Dependability;· Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.Essential Job Functions:· Sweeps, mops and waxes floors using appropriate equipment;· Washes windows;· Dusts & cleans woodwork, furniture & other articles;· Participates in the operation & maintenance of low pressure boilers;· Loads & unloads truck & stock items in appropriate storage;· Replaces light bulbs & repairs switches;· Maintains building security by locking & unlocking doors & gates;· Shovels snow & sands sidewalks;· Collects & stores trash & garbage for pickup by the City· Delivers packages & messages;· Moves & sets up furniture, supplies & equipment;· Notifies supervisor of needed supplies & equipment for re-ordering;· Cleans & disinfects bathrooms, showers, etc.;· Performs related tasks as assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $46,317.00 - $70,431.00 per year
