Worcester Central School is seeking a qualified secondary teacher for an anticipated social studies tenure track position.The successful candidate should:Hold a NYS Teaching Certification in Secondary Social Studies.Have a passion for teaching and understand the value of preparing students for college, careers, and civic life.Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.Be prepared to collaborate with the Social Studies Department and other academic departments to develop engaging and cross-curricular lessons.Create engaging lessons aligned to the NYS Learning Standards and the Social Studies Framework.Be familiar with the NYS Seal of Civic Readiness and contribute to the successful implementation of the Seal.Implement student-centered practices to engage all learners.Be an active and positive member of the school community.How to apply:Applications can be completed in OLAS or downloaded by visiting www.worcestercs.org.
