Provide academic support to students assigned to the WFMS in-school suspension room. The ISS teacher will receive a half hour for lunch each day. The ISS teacher will not be responsible for an additional duty and will not receive a teacher preparation period. This position is a non-aligned position and is not part of the William Floyd United Teachers unit. Primary responsibilities will include, but no limited to: academic supervision and the creation of an environment conducive to learning.Appropriate NYS certification required as a secondary teacher, guidance counselor, social worker or school psychologist.
