POSITION: Waterloo High School Principal JOB DESCRIPTION: As the instructional leader of the High School, the Principals’ role shall be one that guides teacher learning and development resulting in highly relevant and engaging practices to support student learning. Achieving academic excellence requires that the High School Principal work collaboratively with staff, students, and community members to make strategic decisions in advancing the ability to provide student choices for their future. Additionally, the Principal is responsible for the daily operation and district policies that ensure the management and safety of the Building. MAJOR RESPOSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Instructional Programming and Curriculum DevelopmentStudent Centered AdvancementSchool Community CommunicationsAttending Extra-Curricular activities and eventsPersonnel and Financial ManagementBuilding Organization and SupervisionPersonal DevelopmentPerforms and completes other duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment and certification and specifically determined by the Superintendent or designee.
