The West Islip UFSD is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a leave replacement. Certification/Qualifications: Teaching Certification or Teaching Assistant Certification Additional Requirements: Support students through collaboration with the classroom teacher Provide instructional support including enrichment and intervention for students in multiple subject areas Perform all functions to support specially designed classroom instruction as needed The ability to learn and incorporate teaching interventions for students not meeting proficiency Review student classwork/homework to provide feedback Must be well organized with strong verbal communication skills.
