The Whitehall Central School District is seeking candidates for an anticipated full-time special education teacher position at the Whitehall Jr/Sr High School starting in September 2022. Candidates must be working toward/hold a valid New York State teaching certification in students with disabilities (grades 7-12) and/or be working toward eligibility for state certification prior to Sept. 1, 2022. Certification in Literacy/Early Childhood education also considered. Candidates with experience teaching students on the Autism spectrum, cognitive/developmental delays, literacy, and experience in development and facilitation of life skills curriculum/programming are preferred. This is a probationary tenure-track position that includes benefits as defined in the Whitehall Teachers' Association contract. Online applications are preferred through OLAS.
