For a Director of STEM-B, this is where vision meets execution—help create and launch an integrated approach that prepares students and staff to thrive in tomorrow's world.Year One Vision: Where Innovation Meets ApplicationBuild an Innovation Ecosystem where staff and students develop expertise through project based inquiry, creating solutions to real business challenges while mastering STEM fundamentals.Design Learning Experiences where students and staff develop technical mastery AND business acumen (mastery), see themselves as future entrepreneurs and innovators (identity), and create viable products, services, or solutions that impact their community (creativity).Provide Strategic Leadership and data-driven insights to the department and fellow administrators on STEM-B integration, ensuring we deliver measurable outcomes in student achievement, workforce readiness, and innovation metrics for stakeholders including the DOE, NYSED, the BOE, industry partners, and our community.Cultivate Excellence in instructional and support personnel through mentorship, professional learning communities, and industry partnerships that keep our team at the cutting edge. Practically speaking, you'll need:Appropriate administrative certification.Deep understanding of STEM standards, assessment systems, and pedagogical best practices.Knowledge of business fundamentals: entrepreneurship, financial literacy, project management, and market analysis.Experience with industry partnerships and real-world application of learning.Understanding of special education accommodations and English language learning support within STEM-B contexts.Don't have every qualification?
