The Westhampton Beach UFSD seeks a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated educator to join its administrative team. The role of Elementary Curriculum Administrator is a newly created 12-month position that will be part of the Westhampton Beach Supervisory Association collective bargaining unit. Minimum Requirements: Valid NYS School District Leader (SDL), School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Administrator (SDA) CertificationMinimum of 5 years of successful elementary-level teaching experience Deep knowledge of best practices for literacy and numeracy instructionExperience with curriculum development and implementationAbility to support the daily operation of an elementary school of approximately 300 students and associated instructional and support staff membersThe successful candidate will:Support the implementation of new curriculum while enhancing existing programsPossess the ability to support, coach and model best instructional practicesUse a data-informed approach to propose elementary professional development necessary for the effective implementation of curriculumCollaborate with professional development consultants to develop a thoughtful and effective elementary professional development calendarWork cooperatively with other administrators to ensure horizontal and vertical alignment among instructional programsKeep current with developments and literature in the field of education and participate in regional, state, and national professional organizations devoted to the advancement of curriculum and instruction**Spanish-speaking candidates preferred**Interested applicants should apply on OLAS, as well as download and complete an application for professional appointment at https://www.whbschools.org/district/employment.
