The West Genesee School District is accepting applications for a twelve-monthAssistant Business Administrator. This is a probationary, tenure track position beginning on or about April 1, 2024. NYS Certification in SBA/SDA/SDL or SDBL Required. OVERVIEW OF POSITION:Collaborates with the Assistant Superintendent for Management Services as well as all Building Leaders and Directors on budget development, grant spending, capital projects and other items related to the Business OfficeAssists in the financial management of the Onondaga Central School Lunch ProgramManages internal and external audits, as well as comptroller audits when applicable, and their respective corrective actionsAssists Assistant Superintendent for Management Services with annual State Aid Claim documents and reviews the ST-3 with the TreasurerPrepares Federal ESSA Reports, MOE, Medicaid and Actuarial ReportsCompletes all duties as Purchasing Agent related to bid processes, state contracts, cooperative purchasing, etc. and ensures purchasing compliance in all areas.Calculates foster student tuition paymentsCoordinates Health Services ContractsCoordinates flex spending plan and related annual compliance reportCompiles open enrollment informationRemits Medicare part D for reimbursementDistributes ADAPEP information to BOCES for Onondaga CountyPerforms other related tasks as assigned by Assistant Superintendent for Management ServicesSOME OVERSIGHT DUTIES INCLUDE:Management of the integrity of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processesReconciliation of bank statements for all funds including Student Activities AccountsSubmission of ERS & TRS monthly, annual and as requested reportsPreparation and filing of quarterly wage reports (such as 941, IT-2104)Fixed asset inventory processReconciliation of unemployment claimsManagement of ScholarshipsEnsures collective bargaining agreements are properly implementedOther managements duties in relation to the Business Office
