PERSONNEL BULLETIN FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR: Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Teacher Aides for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program The Westbury School District Universal Prekindergarten Program is seeking IMMEDIATE Teachers and Teacher Assistants/Aides for our Westbury UPK site. Westbury UPK teaching and teacher assistant experiences count toward respective professional certifications, as well as professional hours for NYS Teaching Certifications. Requirements for Teachers: Current and valid New York State Early Childhood Education (B-2) Certification and/or New York State Students with Disabilities (B-2) Certification required. Requirements for Teaching Assistants: Current and valid New York State Certification in one or more of the following required: New York State Early Childhood Education (B-2) Certification. New York State Students with Disabilities (B-2) Certification. New York State Teaching Assistant (Level I, II, or III) Certification with a Bachelor’s Degree. Requirements for Teacher Aides: Must possess a high school diploma or GED, required. Salary and Benefits: Compensation package as per Rockgate Daycare Center.
