PERSONNEL BULLETIN FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR: Cook Manager at Powells Lane School Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supervises and participates in the preparation and cooking of food for a school lunch program.Supervises and participates in the preparation and cooking of food.Supervises the cleaning of the kitchen and storage and dining areas.Trains subordinate personnel.Plans and assigns work schedules.Maintains various records regarding food and supplies; prepares reports. Requirements for Consideration for the Position of Cook Manager (As per Nassau County Civil Service Language Regulations):High School graduate.At Least three years of experience in the large-scale preparation and cooking of food, which should include one year in a supervisory capacity.Experience in excess of the three-year requirement may be substituted for a high school diploma. Hours:7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Rate of Pay:$33.11 per hour as per Westbury UPSEU Food Service Unit. Benefits:As per the Westbury UPSEU Food Service Unit.
