PERSONNEL BULLETIN FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR: Cook at Westbury High School Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepares and cooks meat, fish, poultry, etc., as required for the daily meal.Sets up and delegates the food service helpers in the serving of breakfast and lunch to the students and staff.Assists in the ordering of foods and supplies and keeps inventory of such.Trains and delegates tasks to food service helpers. Requirements for Consideration for the Position of Cook Manager (As per Nassau County Civil Service Language Regulations):At Least one year of experience in the large-scale preparation and cooking of food. Hours:6:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Rate of Pay:$25.85 per hour as per Westbury UPSEU Food Service Unit. Benefits:As per the Westbury UPSEU Food Service Unit.
