PERSONNEL BULLETIN FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR: Lead Teachers, Co-Teachers, and Teaching Assistants for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program The Westbury School District-St. Joseph's University Universal Prekindergarten Program is seeking Lead Teachers and Co-Teachers/Teacher Assistants. St. Joseph's Westbury UPK utilizes the Co-teaching model, and this experience will count towards professional certification, as well as professional hours for NYS Teaching Certification. Requirements for Lead Teachers:Current and valid New York State Early Childhood Education (B-2) Certification and/or New York State Students with Disabilities (B-2) Certification required.Master’s Degree required.Pre-Kindergarten and/or Kindergarten teaching experience required. Requirements for Co-Teachers/Teaching Assistants:Current and valid New York State Certification in one or more of the following required:New York State Early Childhood Education (B-2) Certification.New York State Students with Disabilities (B-2) Certification.New York State Teaching Assistant (Level I, II, or III) Certification with a.
